The Hayrake dining room table was built from a design by furniture maker, Michael Pekovich.  My client wanted the ability to extend the dining room table without changing the design.  The solution: I built and designed a second table that serves two purposes.  First, as a coffee table, and second, the table can be placed on four wood pillars and used as an extension to the dining room table.   The wood for the thick, cherry top was harvested from the same log and kept in sequential order.  When the two tables are placed together, the grain patterns of the beautiful cherry wood match perfectly.
