Brian DiGeorge

I spent my childhood in Georgia and earned a BA in Literature from the University of Georgia in 1996.  After graduation, I worked for several years as a home remodeler and finish carpenter in Vermont, Iowa, and the Virgin Islands.  In 2002, I worked as a set designer for the independent film, Redbelly (I built a 16 foot wide by 10 foot high circular stone structure that served as part of a castle tower, as well as other set-pieces).

In 2004, I attended the nine month comprehensive program at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine where I had the opportunity to study under the Australian Furniture Maker David Upfill Brown. During this time, I built a strong foundation in fine woodworking technique and design. Since the completion of the program, I have worked independently making furniture and as a woodworker and home remodeler.  I’m based in Lyme, New Hampshire where I work & live with my wife Amanda, and kids Una & Felix.
